I love being a dad and a grandad. I have been employed at DadsWork for 20 years and it’s been the best job ever. I love supporting and helping men make their lives better for themselves and their families.

Fathers Support Worker

I am a dad of 2 and 2 dogs. I have been employed at DadsWork for 14 years and retrained as a Nursery Practioner after being a Chef. This is a wonderful job as it has such variety and I enjoy supporting the families I work with improve their lives.

Accountant by day, Treasurer by night. I am never far from my trusty calculator and have been crunching numbers for DadsWork since joining the Management Committee in 2016.

I saw the power of DadsWork in the community years ago while working in the local infant school. When Kevin asked me to join the committee and help, I had to! It is an honour to be part of the team. I am now honoured to be the DadsWork SCIO Chair.

Men's Shed Representative

After 35 years as a bus driver it was my time to retire. I had always thought about Men’s Shed, and I was made very welcome on my first visit. I was very impressed with the enthusiasm from the staff and I joined immediately, then I have progressed to join the committee. It was definitely the right choice.

I’ve been involved with DadsWork for 10 years and have enjoyed it immensely as have my 3 youngest sons and now my grandchildren. In my spare time I am a coach with Preston Lodge Rugby Club.
